in whalley, i usually wake up to the crack of a gunshot, ambulance/police sirens, or a helicopter flying overhead looking for a man on the run.

Ummm, actually, I meant Martina's photo made me a bit homesick... not the lack of gunshots here... It's beautiful here, but in a very different way than BC.
